I grew up in Geneva Switzerland where I was exposed to art at an early age, and developed a particular passion for jewelry and ceramics. Formally trained as a scientist at the University of Lausanne, I always wanted to use my scientific background in the design of jewelry. During my 25 years in Providence, Rhode Island I took numerous jewelry courses at Rhode Island School of Design. Since moving in Minneapolis six years ago, I continued to train and create work in the field of metalwork jewelry. All my work is handmade and original, inspired by both ethnic and contemporary styles. Mostly I use sterling silver that I oxidized. Sometimes I add a bit of texture or color to my pieces with some copper element and or stones.
