Minneapolis artist Brittany Foster began taking jewelry-making classes at age 12 and earned a degree from The School for American Crafts in 2001. Her antiqued silver designs, recently crafted in combination with wood, are cutting edge but reflect a sense of history.
Brittany states, “I make things as a matter of necessity; my fingers are always inching toward the work bench. I make things that look like they do because of plants. And illuminated manuscripts. And old toys. And insects … “
