Clever belt buckles and jewelry pieces that feature maps of our favorite locations are the work of jewelry artist Charlotte Leavitt and her team at chART Metalworks in Portland, ME. These finely crafted works are made from acid-free recycled paper and recycled metals – in turn, the studio recycles 100% of their scraps. “We live the good life here in Maine and want to do our part to keep it that way,” says Charlotte.
