After completing his studies in art and design at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris, Patrick Meyer began his career as a jewelry designer. Working in collaboration with French fashion houses including Guy Laroche, Charles Jourdan, Hanae Mori and Paco Rabanne, he created functional accessories for the runway.
In the late 1990s, Patrick relocated to San Francisco, establishing himself as a metal sculptor and designer, specializing in functional and decorative cast pewter accessories and objects for the home. Used by artisans since ancient times, pewter is prized for its workability, beauty and value. Patrick uses only the finest quality, lead-free and food safe metal. He draws inspiration for this work from modern and primitive art, and from forms found in nature.
