Mary Lacer

While attending a cabinet-making class in 1980, River Falls, WI artist Mary Lacer discovered a lathe in the back of the classroom. She watched with fascination while a shape emerged from a log as it turned on the lathe, deciding then and there to focus on the art of woodturning. Mary has since produced forms ranging from thimbles and pens to bowls, lamps and plates. We love her refined and functional bottle stoppers, turned from assorted woods.
