Paul Schroeder

A woodworker with over 35 years of experience, Paul Schroeder has a special passion for crafting sturdy kitchen spoons as they enable him to use his smallest bits of high quality wood. Though some of his materials are harvested on his 20 acres of woods in Minnesota’s Isanti County, Paul is especially committed to salvaging scrap from commercial logging and from storm damage in the region. Most of his current stock, for example, is from the Fridley tornado in 2005.

All of Paul’s spoons – in maple, walnut, butternut and apple, among other varieties – are finished with two coats of food-safe wax and are ready for use.
