Matt and Heather King are the proprietors of Turning Green, a small woodworking studio in Louisville, KY, and are focused on using sustainable lumber and reclaimed city trees. Their smart picture frames present photographs beautifully.

“The concept of our designs originates with nature itself,” say Matt and Heather. “Our goal is to make functional wooden art while accenting the unique and individual beauty of each tree.” They view bark, knots and worm scars as design elements, and finish their work with environmentally safe linseed oil.
