“A Common Road” Kari Maxwell, Joanna Buyert & Lucy Senstad 6/11 – 7/10

Opening reception on Saturday, June 11th from 5-7pm
Show available from 6/11-7/10

Regional artists Joanna Buyert (ceramics), Kari Maxwell (paintings), and Lucy Senstad (textiles) are coming together for a collaborative show featuring bursts of color, and vivid textures and shades. This exhibit, featuring new work by all three artists, represents an extensive mastery of their craft, resulting in an exhibit of unassuming, beautiful work.

Fringe and Fettle owner Joanna Buyert (St. Paul) turned to ceramics to create pieces she was inspired to use on a daily basis, focusing on pastel glazes and textured shapes. Minneapolis painter Kari Maxwell, most recognized for her iconic cow pieces, is introducing a new collection of vibrant assorted animal portraits. Color specialist and master quilter Lucy Senstad (St. Joseph, MN) is also debuting a new collection of work, vivid table runners and fabric postcards inspired by Kari and Joanna’s work.

The event is free and open to the public.
