Andy Fletcher is a full time artist part time gentleman farmer living near Random Lake, Wisconsin on his farm.
He graduated from Carroll College and taught drawing at various universities before quitting to pursue a career in painting.
Since then he has done the major juried art festival all over the country and has a painting in pretty much every major city in the U.S.
He somehow managed to convince the successful artist Katie Musolff to marry him and move to the Mississippi River before they bought their farm.
His work deals with celebrating the family farm, older more sustainable ways of agriculture and just the stark beauty of the land.
Andy never works from photos and relies on drawings, studies and memory to create his large paintings. The small paintings are from life.
