Opening Reception April 1, 5-7PM
Known for his tremendous talent, discipline, influence, and modesty, Minnesota ceramic artist Warren MacKenzie loves nothing more than to share a spotlight with fellow artists, former students, and past apprentices. In this show, The Grand Hand is delighted to showcase new work by Warren MacKenzie along with that of fellow Minnesota artists Kinji Akagawa, Karen Brong, Dick and Debbie Cooter, Guillermo Cuellar, Wayne Branum and Nancy Gipple.
Work by Warren MacKenzie will be available to purchase in two ways:
1) Silent Auction: At the opening reception, a limited number of larger-scale pieces will offered through a silent auction, with 10% of the sale price to be donated to cancer research. Bidding will begin at 5:00pm Saturday, April 1st. Bidding will close promptly at 6:45pm. All winning bids must be paid in full on opening night. Work purchased must be left in the gallery for the duration of the show.
2) Lottery: Interested buyers may fill out a form in the gallery with their name and contact information beginning at the Opening Reception. On Sundays April 2, 9, 16, and 23 we will randomly draw 7 names. Those 7 individuals will be contacted by the gallery and may come in at 12 noon on the following Sunday to pick out a pot. If a person is unable to visit the gallery on their assigned Sunday, they may come in any time in the following week to pick a pot.
Sorry-no holds, no sneak peeks, no trades!
